Backup service

We have designed a backup service solution for customers who do not receive administrative support but for whom the security of server resources is essential. Thanks to this service, resources can be restored in the event of a sudden failure of server systems and other events affecting system operation.

The service consists of making permanent backups of data maintained on servers in any location and storing the copies on a backup server for up to 1 month.

For increased security and reliability, the security copy can be stored on two backup servers in two independent locations.

Backup Service includes:

• security copies of files and databases, in compliance with high GIODO requirements,
• backup server in two independent locations, with capacity adequate to the Customer's resources),
• data backups once a day (during the night),
• Installation of backup tools (rdfiff-backup and xtrabackup),
• storage of copies for up to 1 month
• daily backup report
• assistance in restoring the backed-up data.

The price of the Backup Service is influenced by two parameters:

• the required disk space of the backup server,
• the duration of storage of the backup copies.
